<p>PURPOSE: To provide screening or filtering action for a fluid heated or cooled in a heat exchanger, by setting a spiral blade such that when the blade is rotated, it is brought into close contact with an inside surface of a first tube. CONSTITUTION: A fluid to be cooled flows in through a tube 1, and flows in a tube 3 of a heat exchanger and flows in an end cap 4, and is returned through the internal tube 3 communicated with a tube 2. A second fluid such as a cooling fluid enters a shell 7 and effuses from the heat exchanger through a tube 6. A spiral member 8 disposed inside the one tube 3 is rotated owing to a movement of the fluid flowing through the tube 3, and, since the spiral member 8 makes close contact with each tube 3, a settled fluid film formed on a solid surface dipped in the fluid is all securely shaved. The spiral member 8 is pushed against a support member 9 composed of a mesh screen. Since the tip end of a support end 12 is rounded, cut force is prevented from acting.</p> |
