PURPOSE:To obtain the title mat-like lawn capable of producing jointless, uniform and tough lawn by putting a runner-like lawn with cut lawn untangled between a pair of nets. CONSTITUTION:For example, a runner-like lawn 1 prepared by untangling nutrient-breeding type cut lawn 4 (e.g. classified as Zoysia) is dispersed between a pair of nets 2, 3 (e.g. made of rottable or degradable material) to such an extent as to be ca.3 to 20 times the area of the cut lawn 4 and put between them. Thence, the lawn thus dispersed is pref. sewn at the ends and/or the parts inside the ends of the nets 2, 3 and rolled at an appropriate length, thus obtaining the objective mat-like lawn.
