发明名称 CORROSION RESISTANT IRON SINTERED MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE:To manufacture an iron sintered material improved in corrosion resistance by packing zinc powder into surface voids in the iron sintered material, heating at the specific temp. and fixing the zinc powder into the surface voids. CONSTITUTION:The zinc powder is charged into a vessel and the iron sintered material having the voids on the surface is embedded into this zinc powder. This vessel is tightly closed and evacuated to make this the prescribed vacuum degree and then, the air is rapidly introduced into the vessel to return back this vessel to the atmosphere pressure, and the zinc powder is packed into the surface voids in the iron sintered material together with the air. Successively, this iron sintered material is heated up to the temp. range of 420 - 450 deg.C to melt the zinc powder in the surface voids and melt-welding is executed between the zinc powder each other or the zinc powder and the iron material constituting the inner walls of surface voids and they are fixed. After fixing the zinc and further, executing resin impregnation, shot blasting treatment is executed to seal the surface voids. By this method, the iron sintered material improved in the corrosion resistance while maintaining the performance, is obtd.
