PURPOSE:To fold an air bag body after being sewn simply and quickly along each crease and secure the air bag in a state of being uniformly folded, without any variation by creasing air bag foundation cloth for forming the air bag body in the folded state. CONSTITUTION:Air bag foundation cloth 13 for forming an air bag body 11 is cut out of a foundation roll into a circular form or the like. This air bag foundation cloth 13 is folded in order, and creasing 15 takes place through a hot plate press or the like in a state of being folded in the minimum. Afterward, the air bag foundation cloth 13 creased 15 both in length and width is unfolded, and each other peripheral edge 17 of a front side member 11a and a rear side member 11b is joined together whereby the air bag body 11 is formed up. Therefore the air bag body 11 can be folded simply and quickly along the creasing 15 formed in the air bag foundation cloth 13. |
