PURPOSE:To improve whiteness under long term high temperature environment and image stability under high temperature and humidity by adding a compound shown by a specific general formula together with a specific basic dye and color developer. CONSTITUTION:In a heat sensitive recording body in which a heat sensitive recording layer, containing a colorless or faintly colored basic dye and a color developer contacting with the basic dye to develop color, is provided on a support, 3-di-n-buthylamino-6-methyl-7-phenylaminofluoran is added as the dye while 4, 4'-isopropylidenediphenol is added as the color developer and at least one type of compound, shown by formula 1, is further added. In the formula, R1, R2, R3 represent 1-4C alkyl groups respectively. At least one of R1, R2 is a tert-buthyl group. By such arrangement, a heat sensitive recording body having high whiteness, which is stable under long term high temperature environment, and excellent image stability under high temperature and himidity can be obtained. |
