PURPOSE:To manage with only one sound detecting means and to reduce the size of the structure and simplify it by detecting an angular velocity according to the phase difference between the speaker driving signal of a sound pressure generating means and the sound pressure signal of a sound pressure detecting means. CONSTITUTION:In a case 1, a slide 7 as an acoustic propagation path is formed at the upper part corresponding to the diaphragm 2a of a speaker 2. The cross section shape of the slit 7 is a laterally long rectangle and only one microphone 3 as the sound pressure detecting means is arranged on the top surface of the case 1 nearby one end part of the slit. A sound pressure signal is detected by the microphone 3 and sent to a signal processing circuit 9. Similarly, a speaker driving signal as a reference signal is inputted from an oscillator 8 to the signal processing circuit 9 and the phase difference DELTAtheta of the sound pressure signal from the input signal is detected. The phase difference DELTAtheta varies from the phase difference DELTAtheta0 when no angular velocity is applied. For the purpose, the variation DELTAtheta0 when no angular velocity is applied. For the purpose, the variation DELTAtheta - DELTAtheta0 is found to detect the value of the corresponding angular velocity. |
