摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain highly accurate approximation by allowing an x-value arithmetic unit to repeat operation while changing the inclination of a stright line between the minimum value and the maximum value, determine the other dividing point so that the x value is maximized and obtain the straight line in a section by the inclination of the stright line corresponding to the section and a y-segment. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with the X value arithmetic unit and a straight line determining device 2 and operation based upon both the devices is repeated from one end point of the section up to the other end point. A coordinate value (t) is deter mined so that the X range [a, t] in which the maximum value of an error between a stright line y = K(X-a)+f(a) having an inclination passing the left end point (a, f(a)) of the section and the original function is less than epsilon is maximized, and the right end of the divided section is set up to P1 to obtain P1 = max(T). The T can be expressed by an equation and K value applying the maximum value to (t) is set up as K1. Then the right end point [P1, K1(P1-a) + f(a)] of the found straight line is defined as a start point and the same operation is repeated to find out the broken line of the succeeding section. Thus, the P and K are successively deterined, and when the value P reaches the right end point (b) of the applied function, the operation is ended.
