PURPOSE:To improve pressure resistance by injecting a large amount of an expandable resin into a container made of a plastics, expanding the resin and hermetically sealing an inlet when the expanded resin rises to the vicinity of the inlet. CONSTITUTION:A jaw 14 of a hermetic sealing metal fixture 11 is hooked on a flange 5 at an inlet 4 of a container 1, made of a plastics and having a drum part 2 of a cask type with the somewhat bulged center and side plates 3 having the inlet 4 on both ends of the drum part 2 to butt the end faces of a pair of cover bodies 13, which are subsequently nipped with hooks 25 on both sides of a sealing member 21 and fixed to the inlet 4 of the container 1. The member 21 is then rotated along a semiconductor cylindrical surface 15 of the cover 12 to open a through-hole 16 at the top of the cover 12. An expandable resin is subsequently injected into the container 1 and expanded. In a stage of raising the expanded resin to the inlet 4, the member 21 is rotated to close the through-hole 16 with a sealing surface 24 and cure the resin. The hermetic sealing metal fixture 11 is then removed from the inlet 4, which is hermetically sealed with a plug 8, fused with a material of the same quality as that of the container 1 and hermetically sealed. |
