A valve comprises a pair of members 15, 18 having adjacent surfaces with co-operating orifices 16, 20 which can be moved into or out of alignment with each other to control flow. The member 15 is carried by a resilient tube 13 forming a flow passage, and is adjustable by a screw 17 toward or away from the other member. Member 18 is connected through a strap 19 to two flexible diaphragms 21, 22 inclined about 60 degrees to each other, the mid-region being connected as shown to a counter-balance weight 25 through a pair of rods 26 at opposite sides of the diaphragms. The valve is operated by an electric solenoid 23, 24 of which the armature 23 is fixed to the diaphragm 22. |
