In the strand- or strip-material treatment process, the electrode system and the screening-elements consist of components that are horizontally and/or vertically interlocked, and which can be re-solubilised. The walls of the screening elements are coated with pref. a high-frequency absorbent material such as expanded polyurethane with graphite inclusions.
