<p>Transfer of image from recording material to arbitrary reception material is effected by pressure of propellant gas liberated in recording material from embedded solid or liquid substances by action of actinic light or heat. Chemical substance may be liberated to act as catalyst for initiating gas-forming reaction. Example of system suitable for formation of propellant gas, although not itself light-sensitive, is alkali azide/iodine.</p> |
