Tubular wrapping nets B are fed into an automatic wrapping machine, preferably that disclosed in Specification 1,068,100, by placing them in a mouth 111 and applying a vacuum to a chamber 126, mounted about a perforated tube 126a, to draw the nets along tube 112 so that the first net rests on a valve 141; the second net is then pressed against the side of the tube and retained there by a piston 131 so that on removing the vacuum, connecting a source of compressed air to a chamber 124, and opening the valve 141, the first net only is blown into a cylindrical guide 150 and thence into a lower head A1 of the wrapping machine. The guide 150 is constructed to allow one side 154 to swing open so that the lower head A1 may move away laterally with the net projecting from its top.
