<p>PURPOSE:To securely prevent insect damage after packaging food by a method wherein after food is packaged by using a wrapping material having barrier property against moth-proofing agent, it is packaged by using a cardboard box containing moth-proofing agent. CONSTITUTION:As a wrapping material having a barrier property, a metallic foil such as an aluminum foil, a gold foil and a silver foil or a plastic film with aluminum evaporated can be used while synthetic pyrethroid, natural or synthetic pyrethrin, low toxic organic phosphorus insecticide, insect repellent, etc. can be used as moth-proofing agent. When a cardboard is to be coated with the moth-proofing agent, the agent is used as it is or the agent is coated with a vehicle or additive added to have the agent inked, while when the moth- proofing agent is blended into adhesive of the cardboard, natural adhesive such as starch or dextrin, synthetic resin agent comprising thermoplastic resin or thermosetting resin, or synthetic rubber adhesive comprising SBR, butyl rubber, etc. is used. As a result, even if the moth-proofing agent is gasified, it is not in contact with the food thereby protecting the food from insect damage.</p> |
