发明名称 Anordnung zur Auswertung von elektrokardiographischen Signalen
摘要 1304460 Electro-medical apparatus AMERICAN OPTICAL CORP 30 April 1970 [30 April 1969] 20947/70 Heading G1N In an ECG monitoring system, in one embodiment, Fig.7 (not shown), the ECG signal is differentiated and signals A, B, C, D respectively equal to the products shown in Fig. 1 are produced. The '+' and '-' signs represent the positive and negative components of the signals shown. The sequence of pulses occurring in these signals characterizes the ECG waveform, e.g. waveform W9 has the sequence A and D occurring simultaneously followed by C. In an alternative, Fig.14 (not shown), the signals A, B, C and D may be respectively equal to +e, -e, -<SP>de</SP>/ dt , and +<SP>de</SP>/ dt . Since A never occurs without D and B never occurs without C. The sequence of signals A, B, C, D are applied to a recognition logic circuit, Figs.11A and 11B (not shown), which determines the sequence, and when a -STROBE pulse is produced at the end of each ECG waveform, the final state of the sequence characterizes the waveform. In operation, during an initial fifteen second learn process a morphology detectron circuit, Figs.12A and 12B (not shown) stores the end states provided by the recognition logic circuit for the types of ECG waveforms occurring during the learn period. These ECG signals are regarded as "normal" for the patient concerned. In subsequent monitoring any ECG waveform which provides an end state not stored is regarded as "abnormal" and a three-second timer is triggered. The ECG signal is applied to a two-second tape loop connected to a recorder which is triggered by the timer. There is also provided an interval detector circuit, Fig. 9 (not shown), which compares the interval between ECG waveforms with a running average of past ECG waveform intervals, and early or late waveforms which deviate a preset percentage from the average are detected to trigger the three-second timer. An area detector circuit, Fig.10 (not shown) is provided to compare the width (i.e. area of rectified ECG signal) of each ECG waveform with a running average of the widths of past ECG waveforms. A count of the number of premature ventricular beats may be provided. For a VPB to be detected there are two requirements (a) an indication that a true compensatory pause exists, and (b) either an excessive ECG waveform area is detected or a waveform shape other than one of those learned exists. A timing circuit, Fig. 8 (not shown), is provided to provide all the timing pulses for the circuits shown in Figs.7 and 9-12B (not shown), e. g. by detecting the R wave of each incoming ECG waveform. Circuitary is provided to inhibit operation of the circuitary in case of excessive noise.
