1309113 Flameproofing materials BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 24 July 1970 [26 July 1969] 35893/70 Heading D1P Textiles are flameproofed by treatment with a composition containing (a) at least one substance of the general formula:- where the radicals R1 are identical alkyl radicals of from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, optionally halogenated, or both R1 radicals represent an alkylene radical of 2 or 3 carbon atoms and where A stands for an optionally substituted alkylene radical of from 1 to 3 carbon atoms (b) at least one compound selected from N- hydroxymethyl and N-alkoxymethyl derivatives of amino-s triazine. The material is impregnated with these substances and reacted with them in the presence of a catalyst which is either acid or potentially so. Other conventional types of finishing materials may be incorporated in the composition. A list of such materials is given in the Specification. The exemplified fabric is of twill cotton.
