1304109 Drawbars METALLWAREN FABRIK EIDERSTEDT KAHLE KG 3 Dec., 1970 [8 Dec 1969] 57505/70 Heading B7T [Also in Division B8] A wheeled drawbar arrangement for hand lifting and moving a load on a mobile platform 1 comprises a supporting frame 5 with a shank 3 having a ball to engage a socket 2 on the platform 1 and a safety collar 17 loaded by a spring 14. In use, Fig. 1 (not shown), the collar 17 prevents accidental disengagement of the ball and socket. As shown, in the decoupling position, a pawl 8 has been disengaged from a recess 6, by operating a control button 12, and placed. against a stop 7 by downward movement of drawbar 10. This acts through lever arm 19a and lever 18 to disengage the collar 17 against the spring 14. Raising the drawbar 10 now disengages the arrangement from the platform 1, Fig. 3 (not shown). The arrangement is attached to the platform by reversing the above procedure. |
