The lift cabin is prevented from turning on its axes by support members which can be deflected and which work in guides running along the cabin path. Each support member (37) is in one piece, and is flexible over its entire length. The member end nearest to the cabin (27) can be arranged to support one end of a rocker beam (40)' in a ball-and-socket joint (45,47)' the beam in turn supporting the cabin (27) via a further such joint (41). The end of each member furthest from the cabin can be attached to a driven drum (55), on and off which the member is wound. |
