Concentric electrically conductive tubes of the torch comprise the inner current contact tube through which the welding wire is fed. The outer shielding gas feed tube forms a nozzle, and an intermediate cooling-water flow tube surrounds the contact tube but is insulated from the outer tube. Pref. the intermediate tube encloses the contact tube up to near the nozzle and be divided into flow and return channels.
