<p>PURPOSE:To enable the manufacture of an armature at low cost by forming a pin-like projection on one thin plate, drilling a through-hole on another thin plate for coupling the aforesaid projection, and pressing and deforming the tip of the projection after laminating both plates. CONSTITUTION:A center thin plate 30a has three pin-like projections 36 arranged at equal angles, and through-holes 32 corresponding to respective three projections 36 are formed on another thin plate 30b. Each thin plate is so laminated as to ensure the insertion and engagement of the projections 36 through the aforesaid holes 32, and then the tips of the projections 36 are pressed and deformed, thereby constituting an armature 26. The projections 36 and through- holes 32 may be formed together with the machining of internal and external surfaces, when each of the thin plates 30a and 30b is processed with a press. Consequently, concurrent press machining becomes possible. Pin members may be used for the projections 36. Also, adjacent thin plates may be coupled to each other at projected and recessed areas. Or, each plate may be bonded with a thermo-setting adhesive.</p> |
