<p>Titanium double cone shaped drum is used for electrolytic polishing of small parts. The rear cone making up the drum is considerable shorter than the front cone of the hexagonal drum, the electrolyte being fed into it via a funnel fixed at the axially fixed mouth a the front end. The rotatable cathode consists of circular discs fitted concentrically to the shaft rotating them, their outline following the contours of the drum. Rotation is effected by an electric motor rotating the cathode via a gear drive fitted into the support framework for the drum.</p> |
