The decomposition and phosphorylation may be carried out simultaneously and the α 1,6-glucosidase may be added to the reaction mixture during the phosphorylation of the raw material. The α 1,6- glucosidase is suitably produced by culturing at least one strain chosen from the genera Pseudomonas, Escheriohia, Aerobacter, Nocardia, Streptomyces, Actinomyces, Micromonospora, Thermonospora and hactobacillus and several suitable strains of these and other genera are specified. The reaction mixture is suitably worked up to yield the product in the form of its crystalline dipotassium salt |
