<p>PURPOSE:To fill blanks between recording dots in a line feed direction to obtain a good recording result by a method wherein when a shortage of energy is discriminated, recording is successively made again on the same line. CONSTITUTION:When a shortage of energy is discriminated, a pulse motor 17 is driven by one step, and a one-line feed is conducted. Then, a strobe pulse STR A and a strobe pulse STR B are supplied to a thermal line head. A multiplexer 25 is changed over so as to supply a strobe pulse to a C group of the thermal line head 13. After two rotations of supplying the strobe pulses STR A - STR D, the pulse motor 17 is driven by one step, and strobe pulses STR A - STR D for a next line are again supplied. In this manner, because recording is successively made on the recorded dots, the head is heated again before a recording energy is completely exhausted.</p> |
