1333299 Forging manipulators DEMAGHYDRAULIK GmbH 19 Jan 1971 [26 Jan 1970] 2541/71 Heading B3H A forging manipulator has its peel supported on a wheeled chassis by bell crank levers 3, 4 on each side of the peel and the forward pair of bell cranks 3 are supported by springs 9 relative to the chassis. The forward bell cranks are pivoted to a shaft 10 between side frames of the chassis and have one arm connected by a rod 5 to the rearward bell cranks 4. The other arms of the forward bell cranks are connected to the pistons of a pair of fluid actuators 7 which are slidable in bushes 8 and supported by the springs 9. The rearward bell cranks have fluid actuators 15 which are used to vary the inclination of the peel. The peel is positioned initially by the actuators 7 in dependence on the size of the workpiece. |
