PURPOSE:To soften a seating surface by embedding a second cushion member, consisting of a resin foaming body, in a part of a first cushion member made up of coupling a mixture of pulverized chips of the resin foaming body and adhesives, and setting up the second cushion member so as to expose its surface on a surface of the first cushion member. CONSTITUTION:A seat pad 3a consists of a first cushion member 4a and a second cushion member 5a set up in a surface layer part at the seating surface side. As for the second cushion member 5a, its back 52a and the circumferential ends 53a are embedded in the cushion member 4a so as to expose the surface 51a at the top side of the seat pad 3a, and then they are joined together for engagement. The cushion member 4a is formed into the specified form with a mixture of pulverized chips of urethane foam, etc., and adhesives, while the cushion member 5a is formed with a urethane material whose foaming density is preset so as to make it softer than the cushion member 4a. Therefore a seating surface can be softening as keeping the extent of constant cushionability as a whole. |
