PURPOSE:To obtain thermal paper improved in pencil writing properties, possible to use an eraser and near to general office paper in touch by using a compound forming a film whose tear strength is specified as a water-soluble polymer and using a paper support specified in its heat extraction pH. CONSTITUTION:A protective layer consisting of a water-soluble polymer and pigment is provided on a thermal recording layer and, by using a compound forming a film whose tear strength is 1kg/mm or more at 20 deg.C under a relative humidity condition of 60% as the water-soluble polymer, the touch of paper and pencil writing properties are imparted and the use of an eraser also becomes possible. As a support, a paper support with heat extraction pH of 6 - 9 is used. By the combination with the protective layer, especially marked effect is obtained in relation to the deterioration of the preservability of a printing part/non-printing part. |
