Sections 29 and 18 are connected by a gusset strut 26 and by a curved member 22. The lower part of section 18 is connected to a bracket 28 which incorporates a front bar 36 and a rear bar 34. Front bar 36 may be tightened against the underside of spouts 40 by bolts 46, which bear against bracket 28. Rear bar 34 may be tightened against the rear of taps 12 and 14 by wing nuts (45), Fig. 3 (not shown) on bolts (44), which draw forward a hook-shaped member (32) inside which bar 34 is held. Wing nuts (45) also clamp link plate 38, to which the front bar 36 is attached. Affixed to the lower end of bracket 28, and to wing bolts 54, are stops (48) and (52) respectively which abut the wall of the bath. Section 18 may be connected to bracket 28 rigidly, or via a pivot, or via means which permits vertical or angular adjustment relative to the bracket 28. The aid may be adapted for attachment to a single tap, when section 18 may be bifurcated to straddle the outlet, or two such vertical sections may be provided. Further cross-pieces with handles may be attached to gusset strut 26. Cross-piece 29 may be at any convenient angle to member 22. |
