<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time monitoring system and time monitoring method providing a service capable of improving reliability of a very conveniently used time. <P>SOLUTION: The time monitoring system monitors client time via a network. It is provided with a standard time means 111 set on the basis of the universal time coordinated, a time stamp means 120 for issuing an electronic certificate including time stamp information, a time acquiring means 112 acquiring time information used by a client at predetermined timing via the network, and a time monitoring means 113 for comparing client time 12 acquired by the acquiring means 112 with standard time 11 acquired from the standard time means 111, acquiring a difference between the two, outputting time comparison information or a unidirectional function value 13A showing the time difference to the time stamp means 120, issuing and storing an electronic certificate regarding time monitoring and issuing it as a time monitoring certificate 14 of a certain period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
