A rotor 1 is supported on symmetricallyplaced rollers 2, each roller being rotatably mounted in a housing 5 which is connected by first and second resilient means 4, 3 to a stand 8; the means 4 absorb radial thrust and are adjustable for position in a direction perpendicular to the thrust as indicated by the arrows, and the means 3 locate the housing axially. Each stand is adjustably and pivotally mounted on a base member 11. The means 3 comprises a leaf spring or torsion bar. |
