The thickener may be alkali or alkaline earth metal soaps or soap/ salt complexes (specific examples given). Preferred triaryl esters are triphenyl, tritolyl and trixylyl phosphorothionates. The greases may also contain alkali or alkaline earth metal nitrides, dialkyl dithiophosphates and phenyl alpha naphthylamine. |
