PURPOSE:To enable a recording film to be provided directly on a base by coating and enhance productivity, by incorporating a specified cyanine coloring matter and a quencher in the recording film. CONSTITUTION:A recording film is provided on a base formed of a plastic material, and comprises a cyanine coloring matter of formula I, wherein R1 and R2 are each an alkyl of 2 to 4 carbon atoms. The recording film further comprises a quencher of formula II, wherein each of R3 to R10 is hydrogen, an alkyl or allyl group, and X is a halogen. The recording film comprising the quencher and the cyanine coloring matter is provided by a usual means such as a spin coating method. The thickness of the recording film is about 40-100 nm. |
