The speed regulation system, for the individual motor that drive a multi-motor printing press, has separate digital synchronisers for each motor. To avoid register errors the outputs of the register regulators are used as correction signals for the digital synchronisers. The digital synchronisers are also supported by analog speed regulation. The digital synchronisers are connected over selections contacts to the two selection lines. The regulation system can also be used for other types of multi-motor machines that handle endless streams of material. |
