摘要 An apparatus and a method for estimating I/Q mismatch parameter in OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) receiver are provided to correct I/Q mismatch on a real time by compensating a phase difference and an amplitude difference between I channel and Q channel due to the I/Q mismatch through one OFDM preamble value received in an OFDM receiver. An ADC(Analog to Digital Converter)(300) quantizes a signal received from a RF front end part into a digital signal. A preamble confirming part(312) confirms a preamble in an output signal, outputs a preamble signal to a pilot tone position finding part(314), and outputs a pilot signal of the preamble to a mismatch parameter estimator. The pilot tone position finding part finds a position of the pilot tone in the preamble signal, and outputs the position to the mismatch parameter estimator. The mismatch parameter estimator(316) estimates a phase difference and an amplitude difference according to a position of a pilot tone of the preamble of the received signal. An I/Q compensating circuit(302) compensates I/Q mismatch through the phase difference and the amplitude difference estimated by the mismatch parameter estimator.
