Refuse is conveyed, crushed, shredded and humidified before discharging into a receiving chamber, from here quantities fall into a chamber to be compressed by a piston to 500 bars and the liquid is extracted during compression by special channels. The liquid is used for fertilizer mfe. The blocks of refuse fall from the compression chamber to be carried away for use in cement or, after crushing, as a fuel. Appts. is two sided on side being loaded with refuse while the other produces compressed blocks. |
