The compounds are prepared by cyclizing under basic conditions an enamine of the formula where represents the residue of a secondary amine to produce a compound of Formula I wherein R is H and, if desired, converting the compound so obtained into a compound of Formula I wherein R is acyl or α-tetrahydropyranyl. |
