<p>Curable compsn. for coating and moulding comprises (a) mixture of at least two polyesters, one polyester being curable to a rigid state and the other to flexible state, (the ratio of rigid polyester to flexible polyester being 0.5-2:1) and (b) perlite or vermiculite expanded filler present as 10-30% by wt. of resins. Compsn. pref. also contains a monomer solvent, tacl. curing catalyst and catalyst accelerator. The articles or coatings are light in wt., vapour permeable, and liquid impervious. Esp. used for coating walls and doors with vapour permeable coating which breathes and prevents warping.</p> |
