PURPOSE:To enable formation of a resistor through burning in an non-oxidizing atmosphere and to enable resistance variation rate in a humidity resistance test within + or -2% by containing a specified amount of magnetic semiconductor and glass of specified composition, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Contained in a resistor composition are 50 to 94 pts.wt. of a ceramic semiconductor whose general formula is expressed by Ni1.0-xLixO and x is in a range of 0.001<x<0.15 and 5 to 50 pts.wt. of a glass whose general formula is expressed by aLi2O+bRO+cB2O3+(100-a-b-c)SiO2 (here, R is at least one kind selected from Mg, Ca, Ba, and a, b and c are mole %) and a, b, c are in a range of 0<=a<20, 10<=b<55, 0<=c<40, respectively. The composition powder is mixed with organic binder and kneaded as a resistor paste. After conductor paste 12 is printed on a main surface of a green sheet piece 10 and dried, resistor paste 14 is printed and dried. Then, it is burnt in a non-oxidizing atmosphere to produce a ceramic substrate having a thick film resistor. |
