PURPOSE:To quantitatively specify the faulty part by integrating and calculating the respective degrees of conviction related to plural candidates with regard to all related to a faulty candicate at the time of diagnosis to such a fault as the part in which abnormality is detected as to a set of a table is not always an abnormal place. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with a table file 1, a search mechanism 2 for a faulty part candidate, a conviction degree calculating mechanism 3 for the faulty part candidate, a sequencing mechanism 4 for a faulty part based on the degree of conviction, a display part 5, a restriction accumulating part 6, a conviction degree calculation parameter accumulating part 7, and a working memory 8. In such a state, the detection of a faulty part is executed by following all chained tables, and compar ing and collating them with a restriction peculiar to the table concerned. Subsequently, from the part in which the fault concerned is detected, the chain of the tables is followed in reverse, fields of the tables on its route are all set as fault candidates, and thereafter, the degree of conviction of correctness of the field of each fault candi date is calculated, and the order whose degree of conviction is small becomes the rank of possibility of the faulty part. In such a way, the diagnosis can be executed quantitatively by containing not only the field being an object of the degree of convic tion of correctness but also the related field. |
