Device for recovery and utilisation of heat from solar energy sources, constructed in the form of a chamber which has a flow medium passing through it acting as a heat transfer fluid. The chamber (3) has a flat lower shell acting as a floor pan (7) and a thin walled smooth upper shell manufactured from a plate (16) of good heat conducting material. Either or both of the upper or lower shell sections (6, 17) is made so that it has a series of raised sections (8, 19) protruding into the space enclosed by the shells (6, 17).
