1462116 Containers for foam SEMPERIT AG 1 April 1974 [30 March 1973] 14377/74 Headings B8C and B8P [Also in Division B7] A container, which may constitute a lorry body, for the transportation of compressible foam, comprises a base plate 1, a cover plate 3 movable by hydraulic devices 2 towards the base plate to compress the foam and one or more intermediate plates 7 connected to the cover plate. The plates 7 are suspended from the cover plate by chains, ropes, bands or rods which may be of adjustable length. Side walls may be fixed to the base and/or to cover plates. Alternatively removable side walls 8 which may be removed after the foam has been compressed may be located in fittings 5 and 4 in the base and cover plates. The base and cover plates may be rectangular, multi-angled, circular or oval. |
