<p>A holder for supporting a hollow article includes a base, a plurality of resilient fingers extending outwardly from the base, and restraining means for maintaining proper alignment of the fingers. The resilient characteristic and the design of the fingers permits the loading and stable seating of a hollow article presented in misalignment to the holder, and the holder is especially useful for supporting can shells which, because of the nature of the operations to be performed thereon, often cannot be externally supported.</p> |
