PURPOSE:To quickly perform treatment for restraining a fluid leak at the fractured part of a fluid conduit by preliminarily housing a shutoff bag within the fluid conduit, providing a sensor for detecting the fracture of the conduit and a shutoff device for automatically inflating the bag, and automatically inflating the bag upon the fracture of the conduit. CONSTITUTION:Before starting a work near a fluid conduit P, a shutoff bag 4 in a collapsed state is preliminarily housed in th conduit P. A sensor S for detecting a fracture is provided in the conduit P and a shutoff device 8 is installed for automatically inflating the bag 4 on the basis of information from the sensor S, upon the fracture of the conduit P. Also, the bag 4 is automatically inflated in the conduit P, upon the occurrence of a conduit fracture, thereby preventing a fluid leak at the fractured part. According to the aforesaid construction, a substantial trouble due to a fluid leak can be properly prevented, and advantageous safety measures can be applied. |
