PURPOSE:To obtain a preparation for disturbing mating behavior of male imagoes of Plusia nigrisigna to prevent multiplication thereof, comprising Z-7- dodecenyl acetate and Z-7-dodecenol as active ingredients. CONSTITUTION:The title preparation comprising Z-7-dodecenyl acetate and Z-7-dodecenol in the ratio of (97:3)-(3:97) [preferably (80:20)-(20:80)]. The preparation may be mixed with sex pheromone constituent component of other insect, sex attractant, antioxidant, ultraviolet light absorber, etc. In order to maintain release of active ingredients for many hours, preferably the preparation is packed into capillary, bag made of laminated film or container such as capsule comprising a plastic such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or polyvinyl chloride having release amount-controlling function and used. |
