PURPOSE:To use a main body apparatus for other work and to shorten a rise time required after restoring the apparatus by inserting a switching means into a route for supplying DC power from a power supply circuit in the body apparatus to a peripheral device and turning on/off the switching means in accordance with an input from an input means. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 13 turns on a transistor (TR) 11 when a power supply switch 3 is turned on, i.e. when the power supply of the main body apparatus 1 is turned on, turns off the TR 11 when a key input from a keyboard 12 is a power OFF command, and turns on the TR 11 when a power ON command is inputted. In the case of a key input other than said commands, processing corresponding to the key input is executed. Thereby, the peripheral apparatus 2 also can be driven almost simultaneously with the power ON of the main body apparatus 1. Even if abnormality is generated in the peripheral apparatus 2, only the power supply of the peripheral apparatus 2 can be turned on/off without stopping the main body apparatus 1. |
