A differential shrinking polyester combined yarn is produced by drawing a semi-drawn polyester yarn (2) having 20-40 x 10-3 of birefringence ratio between the first roller (7) and the second roller (9) to produce a high shrinkable polyester (b) having 70-150 x 10-3 of birefringence ratio, combining the polyester (b) with a low shrinkable polyester (a) having 170-200 x 10-3 of birefringence ratio, and interlacing the combined polyester in the air nozzle (10) and winding it by the optimal tension.
