PURPOSE:To enable paper sheets to be reliably fed one by one and to ease changing paper sheets by utilizing flexure of paper and frictional force by rolls and a belt in a cut paper feeding equipment to be used for a printer, etc. CONSTITUTION:When a pick-up roll 14 is turned in the direction as shown by an arrow, paper forms catenary near corner pawls 15 at both ends of the front edge, soon it comes off the corner pawls 15 and moves ahead. In this occasion, one sheet of the paper is separated. In case where separation of paper sheets by the corner pawls 15 and the pick-up corner 14 results in a failure, they are advanced in between a separator roll 17 and a reverse belt 18 in the condition that several sheets of the paper are piled up, they are separated to be one sheet by frictional force of the both 17, 18 which move in the reverse direction, and one sheet of the paper which has been separated is fed to the subsequent step by the action of the separator roll 17 which has larger frictional force. |
