PURPOSE:To serve comfortably hot and tasty tea free from chloride of lime by arranging a filter member for filtering and removing chloride of lime contained in city water in the middle of a water passage pipe connected to a pump for sending water from a water tank. CONSTITUTION:A specified amount of water is held in a water tank 2. Chloride of lime in the water in the tank 2 is filtered and removed as the water passes through a filter member 22 located at the upper part of the tank 2. When a specified time period elapses after a start switch is turned on, a heater 34 is energized, a pilot lamp lights up, and the water in the tank 2 is heated. The temperature of the water in the tank is constantly detected and monitored with a temperature sensor 33. When the water temperature becomes suitable value (t) for drinking, a control section 50 works to turn the heater 34 off. At the same time, a pump 32 is driven to draw up the water in the tank 2. Then a solenoid valve 8 is opened, tea which has passed through tea leaves is poured through a pouring tap 30 into a container 12 set in a container compartment 6 so that tea free from the odor of chloride of lime at a temperature (t) suitable for drinking is served. |
