ALKALI METAL ION COLLECTING AGENT

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an alkali metal ion collecting agent having high adsorbing ability by using high Ca substd. zeolite contg. a specified amt. of residual Na and ensuring equilibrium pH 7.5-9.0 for 1wt.% aq. slurry of the zeolite at 25 deg.C as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:High Ca substd. zeolite contg. residual Na by <=2.0wt.% (expressed in terms of Na2O) and ensuring equilibrium pH 7.5-9.0 for 1wt.% aq. slurry of the zeolite at 25 deg.C is used as it is to obtain an alkali metal ion collecting agent. The zeolite may be mixed with a binder such as cement as required. The average particle size of the zeolite is about 0.5-4.5mum and the amt. of coarse particles of >=5mum particle size is about <=20wt.% but coarse particles of >=10mum particle size are not preferably contained.
