PURPOSE:To increase considerably the data transfer rate between a channel device and an input/output controller in keeping the 1-byte width as it is, by using two routes for the unidirectional transfer of a bus signal. CONSTITUTION:Both a signal drive circuit 19 and a signal receiving circuit 7 are provided to a BUS-I (bus input line) input circuit to form an input/output circuit for BUS-SV (bus service line) signal. A driver 18 is provided to a BUS-O (bus output line) output circuit to obtain an input/output circuit for S-DT (bus data-in line) signal. The input/output control of both input/output circuits is executed by performing the read and write of a data transfer control part 22 and by means of the service and data bits. |
