<p>The tiles travel in a transverse row along a conveyor belt (CB) (a) and onto a second CB (b) which is mounted on a horizontal pivot shaft at its inlet end. The outlet end of CB (b) is mounted on one leg of an L-shaped frame (c) mounted on three slides driven by a motor along vertical pillars. The height of both the outlet end of CB (b) and frame (c) can thus be adjusted to suit the height of shelves in a trolley located in frame (c). The other leg of frame (c) is fited with motor driven rollers conveying the tiles onto the shelves. A vertical stack of tiles can thus be built up on the trolley, which is mounted on two sets of rails permitting its movement in two horizontal directions at 90 degrees to each other. Used for loading tiles onto kiln cars or other storage trolleys.</p> |
