PURPOSE:To improve the coefficient of utilization by fitting a document data in a cassette type memory to the code system at a word processor main body after the code conversion of the data at the main body and simultaneously performing a KANA(Japanese syllabary) - KANJI(Chinese character) conversion with a gross selection system. CONSTITUTION:By assigning a document file name and a load by a keyboard 14, an assigned file on a RAM card 10 is opened by the control of a main controller 12. And one character share of data is read from the RAM card 10 to a code conversion input buffer 18, and when it is not the end of the file, the character code is code-converted at a code conversion control circuit 20, being set at a KANA - KANJI conversion input buffer 22. When it is the completion of a clause, the content of the KANA - KANJI conversion input buffer 22 is supplied to a KANA - KANJI conversion control circuit 28 through a selector 26, the KANA - KANJI conversion being performed. And the converted result is set at a KANA - KANJI conversion output buffer 32. Thereby, a word processor system with high coefficient of utilization can be obtained. |
